F ootball, the most dynamic of global enterprises, is an uncanny touchstone for the forces and figures redefining the marketplace, cultural agenda, and business-society compact. FIFA World Cup 2026, an event of historic magnitude and symbolism, brings this notion to full, audacious expression. The road to July 19 is a chance like no other to elevate the narratives and newsmakers—business, creative, civic—giving it form and color, shed light on the evolving currency of sport, and engage curious, cosmopolitan audiences—devotées of the game and casual observers alike—in breakthrough, meaningful ways.

Kit Magazine, created in 2014, was inspired by a collaboration with Tribeca Film Festival. What started as a focus on the media/creative industry quickly evolved to embody wide-ranging, interconnected storylines, from soft power to sustainable cities to the streaming revolution. Heads of state, mayors, CEOs, actors, creative directors, geopolitical experts, architects, social-impact leaders, museum chiefs and a transit folk-hero are among those to date who have been part of its evolution. Soccer is the universal thread. Design identity is paramount.

Kit is published by consultancy Santiago. Project 2026, an offering distinct to the World Cup lead-up and window, channels for client partners the cross-cutting intelligence, capabilities and community that underpin the Kit and Santiago propositions. While P26 activities parallel Kit Magazine programming, they do not necessarily overlap or integrate.
